How big a team can be? +

You can have a team of 2 to 4 members. You can also participate individually, but we recommend having a team.

Who all can participate? +

The hackathon is open to everyone! Students, professionals, and enthusiasts are all welcome.

Do I need to have any specific qualifications to be a participant for the hackathon? +

No specific qualifications are needed. Just bring your passion for building and learning!

I'm not a citizen of India. Can I participate? +

Yes, absolutely! HACKWAVE 2.0 is open to participants from all over the world.

I am a newbie, can I hack? +

Yes! Hackathons are a great place to learn. We'll have mentors and workshops to help you get started.

Is there any registration fees for participation? +

No, participation in Hackwave 2.0 is completely free.

Can I start working on my hack before the event? +

No. To ensure fairness, all projects must be built during the hackathon. However, you can come with ideas and wireframes.

What to bring to the hackathon? +

Bring your laptop, charger, and any other hardware you might need. If it's an offline event, bring toiletries and a sleeping bag just in case!

Does Hack Wave provide Internet facility during the hackathon? +

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi will be provided at the venue.

What is the shortlisting procedure? +

Applications will be reviewed based on your skills, past projects, and GitHub profile. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.

I am below 18 or a high school student. Can I attend the hackathon? +

Yes! We welcome innovation from all ages. However, if you are under 18, you may need a consent form from a parent or guardian.
